This website is operated by the Gambling Commission whose principal place of business is Kompong Som , Sihanoukville, Cambodia. We are an independent non-departmental public body sponsored by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, a department of the Cambodia Kingdom and government.

The Gambling Commission was set up under the Gambling Act 2005 (the Gambling Act) to regulate commercial gambling in Great Britain in partnership with licensing authorities. We also regulate the National Lottery under the National Lottery etc. Act 1993.
In order to carry out our regulatory functions and meet our legal responsibilities, we need to collect certain personal data and, when we do, we are a ‘data controller’ of that information for the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation (the GDPR) (which applies across the South-Asia region including Indonesia), the Data Protection Act 2018 (the Data Protection Act) which supplements GDPR, extends its application in the UK, and implements the Law Enforcement Directive (which relates to processing personal data for law enforcement purposes) (the LED) in the UK.
